As a rule, a child who is 5 years and 6 months old will be admitted to class-First. A corresponding scale is fixed for the succeeding classes. A child who has attended any recognized school will not be admitted without a school leaving certificate from the same. Those students who join the school at any time of the current academic year will have to pay the complete fee of that academic year even if they join late. An attested copy of the most recent results available should be submitted along with the application form duly completed. Copies of certificates, report card etc. once submitted are not returned. For the selection and admission of any candidate, the decision of the Principal is final.
Admission to Class-XI
Apart from the minimum qualification required by the CBSE, the school has its own norms of eligibility for admission to class XI.
- High academic performance in class IX & X.
- Final marks of class IX & Pre-Board of class X will also be taken into consideration.
- Regularity of work and attendance in classes VIII-X. In other words only those students will be admitted to class XI, who in the opinion of the Principal have displayed mental ability and high moral character and have a serious application to studies.
- The school lays great stress on character formation. Hence the conduct/character of the students studying here should be such that he/she shown clear evidence that he/she had benefitted from the education offered here. Mere academic excellence will not make the candidate eligible for admission to class XI. The Principal, in consultation with the governing body, is the sole arbitrator in this matter.
A Transfer Certificate or any other document will be issued only if all the dues of fees have been paid and all library books returned. A pupil failing to be promoted may have to discontinue his/her studies in the school. When a child has once been withdrawn, the Admission Fee must be paid again on re-admission. Three days’ notice is to be submitted in the office to issue any document from the school.
If anyone intends to discontinue his/her studies in this school after the X class board examination and wants to join any other school, he/she needs or apply for the transfer certificate before 31st March of the year or else will be required to deposit the April Quarter fees regardless of the fact that they attended the classes or not.
The School management reserves the right to add or amend any of these Rules and the same shall be binding on the Parents and the Pupils.
