Patron Saint

Our Patron Saint: St. Teresa of the Child Jesus

St. Teresa of the Child Jesus, affectionately called “The Little Flower,” was born in Alençon, France, in 1873. The youngest child of Louis and Zelie Martin, she was drawn to God from a very young age and grew up in a home filled with love and piety.

At just 15, Teresa entered the Carmelite convent in Lisieux, dedicating her life wholly to God. Through her autobiography, Story of a Soul, she shared her “little way”; a life of simplicity, humility, and childlike trust, showing that true greatness lies not in grand deeds but in great love.

St. Teresa taught that every task, no matter how ordinary, can be done with extraordinary love. Her life inspires us to approach each day with focus, care, and devotion, seeing God in every moment and in everyone we meet.
We, the Teresians, are proud to follow her example, guided by her spirit of love, humility, and unwavering faith.

St. Teresa, pray for us.
